Julia Berkman, Ph.D.

Julia Berkman, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and Certified Health Service Provider. Dr. Berkman graduated from Brown University. She received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Clark University. Dr. Berkman completed both her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Brown Medical School/Rhode Island Hospital, with a specialization in pediatric psychology. During her fellowships, Dr. Berkman held appointments at Harvard and Brown Medical Schools. She is the author of several scholarly papers and has presented internationally.

SERVICES PROVIDED
Dr. Berkman provides individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as family therapy. She has experience in the treatment of a wide range of mental and behavioral health problems, with specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy for: sleep, eating, and anxiety disorders and coping with chronic medical issues including pain disorders, Crohn's Disease, Colitis, Irritable Bowel Disease and other gastrointestinal disorders.

AVAILABILITY
Dr. Berkman is available in our Norwood office on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and in our Braintree office on Wednesday and Friday.
