Kathy Andolina, RN, CS, PC is a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist with more than 25 years of psychiatric nursing experience. She is Board Certified as a Clinical Specialist in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Kathy completed her Master's of Science degree in Nursing at the Boston College Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in 1986. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing at Adelphi University, Garden City, New York. Before her current clinical positions, Kathy was an Adjunct Professor at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences for 10 years. She has written articles and book chapters in a number of publications related to the nursing and case management.

Kathy is a member of the Massachusetts Nurses Association and NURS - Nurses United for Responsible Services. Kathy's services provided at Child and Family Psychological Services, Inc. are supervised by one of our Board Certified Psychiatrists, Kirk Lum, M.D. Kathy accepts referrals directly from other licensed mental health providers.

SERVICES PROVIDED
Kathy provides psychopharmacological (i.e., medication) treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Click here for information on typical procedures for initial and follow up appointments. Kathy typically only accepts new referrals for patients who are receiving ongoing psychotherapy from licensed mental health providers with whom she is comfortable coordinating care. Psychotherapists must complete and submit a Psychotherapist Referral Form before we can determine if we are able to offer services. Click here to request services.

AVAILABILITY
Kathy is available in our Norwood office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Kathy also sees patients one Saturday a month.

INSURANCE NETWORKS
Kathy is a network provider for Blue Cross PPO & Indemnity, HMO Blue Massachusetts, HMO Blue New England (Magellan), Harvard Pilgrim (PacifiCare/UBH), Health Care Value Management, United Behavioral Health and Aetna. Many other networks provide out of network benefits (e.g., Tufts PPO) that would cover her services.

Kathy Andolina, RN, CS, PC is available for speaking on a variety of topics related to psychopharmacology, psychiatric and behavioral issues pertaining to children, adolescents and adults. Potential audiences are medical and non-medical professionals associated with school systems, health care organizations and professional groups. Recent topics have included: "Use of Psychiatric Medications in Children", "Treating ADHD", "Psychiatric Diagnoses in Children and Adolescents", "Substance Use Disorders" and "The Continuum of Care and Services for Children".
