MONA HUK, M.D. is a Board Certified Psychiatrist.  Dr. Huk attended UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.  She completed an Internship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital before completing her Residency in Psychiatry at Brown University.  Dr. Huk completed two Advanced Fellowships in Psychiatry at the Faulkner Hospital, where she currently is the Medical Director of the Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program. Dr. Huk is also fluent in Spanish and Ukrainian.
 

AVAILABILITY

Dr. Huk is available every weekday except Wednesday. in our Norwood office only. She is also available one Saturday a month for follow up appointments.

 

Dr. Huk will be on maternity leave until approximately June 1, 2008 and will not be accepting new patients until that time.

 

INSURANCE NETWORKS

Dr. Huk is a participating provider for the following networks: AETNA, Harvard Pilgrim (PacifiCare) Health Care Value Management, HMO Blue-Massachusetts, HMO Blue New England, Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO,One Health Plan-PPO, Private Health Care Systems-PPO and Tufts Health Plan.

Other networks may provide payment for this doctor's services on an out of network basis.

 

SERVICES PROVIDED

Dr. Huk provides psychiatric evaluation and pharmacological treatment only.  She only provides services for adults.  Dr. Huk is only accepting new patients who are currently receiving psychotherapy from a licensed mental health provider with whom she has a history of positive collaboration. A patient may request services with one of our psychologists first and then see Dr. Huk if necessary.
