Nan Herron, M.D. is a Board Certified Child/Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist.  Dr. Herron graduated from Yale University, magna cum laude.  She completed her medical education at Brown University Medical School. Dr. Herron completed the Triple Board Residency program in Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry at Brown University Medical School. After her residency training, Dr. Herron completed a year of advanced training in post-traumatic stress disorder at Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition to providing outpatient services in our practice, Dr. Herron is the Director of Adolescent Services and Associate Medical Director at the Pembroke Hospital in Pembroke, MA.

AVAILABILITY

Dr. Herron is available on Wednesday afternoons and evenings in our Norwood office only. She is also available one Saturday a month for follow up appointments.

 

INSURANCE NETWORKS

Dr. Herron is a participating provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Behavioral Health, including the Harvard Pilgrim Network. 

Other networks, including most PPO's, may provide payment for this doctor's services on an out of network basis. 

 

SERVICES PROVIDED

Dr. Herron provides psychiatric evaluation and pharmacological treatment only.  She only provides services for children, adolescents and adults.  Dr. Herron is only accepting new patients who are currently receiving regular psychotherapy from one of our psychologists.  A patient may request services with one of our psychologists first and then see Dr. Herron if necessary.
