TIMOTHY MARTIN, Ph.D. received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University and completed pre-doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships at the Yale University School of Medicine Child Study Center.  Dr. Martin is a licensed psychologist

and Certified Health Services Provider. His research has focused on the impact of neuropsychological and psychosocial factors on academic achievement. Dr. Martin is an Affiliate Faculty member of the Suffolk University Psychology Department. He practices Child Clinical Psychology and Pediatric Neuropsychology. Prior to pursuing a career in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Martin was a special education teacher working directly with children experiencing traumatic brain injuries, autism, and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

AVAILABILITY
Dr. Martin is available Monday-Wednesday and Friday in Norwood and on Thursdays in our Holliston and Braintree offices.

SERVICES PROVIDED
Dr. Martin specializes in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and consultation for children and families effected with: Autistic spectrum disorders, including Asperger’s Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, and Nonverbal Learning Disorders; Learning Disabilities and ADHD; medical illnesses; and other neuro-developmental, psychiatric and educational difficulties. He provides neuropsychological, psychological, and developmental evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults age 2 to 22. Dr. Martin is also available for professional presentations and school consultations.

INSURANCE NETWORKS AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS
Dr. Martin is able to take HMO Blue-New England (Magellan), HMO Blue-Massachusetts, Blue Cross, Harvard Pilgrim (PacifiCare) Health Care Value Management, Tufts Health Plan-PPO (PPO Only-on an out of network basis), United, and Aetna. Many plans also provide out of network coverage for his services. Although we do not accept the Massachusetts Rate Setting Commission rates, many school districts hire Dr. Martin to provide evaluations for them or approve payment at his rates for independent evaluations.
