What
is YogaKids™?
YogaKids™ is a unique program developed by the internationally
recognized leader in children’s yoga, Marsha Wenig. It is founded
on Harvard educator Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligence,
suggesting that children learn through multiple modalities (linguistic,
logical, spatial, visual, interpersonal, intrapersonal, musical and
kinesthetic). YogaKids™ programs integrate music, storytelling,
creative arts, reading, anatomy and ecology, and games into yoga classes
for children that are playful, fun, and promote creativity, imagination,
self-expression, and relaxation.
