About Caroline Byron, Psy.D.

Dr. Byron’s areas of interest and training include substance abuse and addiction, crisis intervention, autism spectrum disorders, panic disorder, anxiety and depression, self-injury, geriatric issues, relationship problems, and psychological evaluations. Dr. Byron utilizes a humanistic and cognitive behavioral approach. She provides individual and group psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. Dr. Byron is currently the facilitator for the Emotional Wellness for Adults group at the Weymouth location. She is also a primary care psychologist with Milford Regional Family Medicine.

    Caroline Byron, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her undergraduate degree from Boston College in Human Development with minors in Fine Arts and Theology. She completed a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College followed by a doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a Health Psychology focus from William James College.

    Dr. Byron completed an APA accredited pre-doctoral internship at Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in San Diego, California. The internship was a generalist approach offering the opportunity to work with adolescents, adults, older adults, and conduct psychological assessments and testing. Dr. Byron was previously a counselor at St. Elizabeth’s Comprehensive Addiction Program and has completed pre-doctoral training at McLean Hospital, Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
