Frank Dalgin, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist and Certified Health Services Provider. He received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver. He completed a pre-doctoral internship at South Shore Mental Health Center in Quincy. Dr. Dalgin is currently an instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School and he is affiliated with McLean Hospital through which he supervises a clinical intervention program in two Boston Public Schools. Additionally, Dr. Dalgin has had many years experience working as a school psychologist in a vocational-technical high school and as a private practice clinician in Brockton.
Dr. Dalgin has expertise in evidence based psychological treatment, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. He provides individual, couple, and group psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Dalgin has particular expertise in the areas of chronic mental health challenges, depression, learning challenges, autism spectrum disorders, and strength based mental health interventions. He is also available for school consultation.
Dr. Dalgin is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in Weymouth and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in Norwood.
Dr. Dalgin participates in the Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Behavioral Health (UBH), Harvard Pilgrim (UBH-Pacificare), Medicare, Beacon Health Strategies – Commercial and GIC plans only, Aetna, Coventry/First Health and Commonwealth Care Alliance.
