Jennifer Hermes, Psy.D., received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Hermes completed her pre-doctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at Community Healthlink’s Youth and Family Services in Worcester, MA. During this time, she provided outpatient assessment and therapy with children and families, as well as child-specific and general classroom consultations. Dr. Hermes completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service for Young Children (NYC), which is within the Brenner Assessment and Consultation Center at William James College in Newton, MA.
Dr. Hermes has expertise in evaluating and treating young children and school-aged children with developmental, learning, behavioral, and emotional problems as well as specialized training in diagnosis and treating children and families with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Dr. Hermes provides neurodevelopmental and psychological evaluations and consultations for children and adolescents ages 1 through early adulthood. She specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning in: developmental disorders including autism spectrum, intellectual and learning disabilities, and ADHD; emotional difficulties such as depression, anxiety, difficulties with attachment; and other concerns related to education, learning, and development.
Additionally, Dr. Hermes provides treatment and consultation with a diverse range of clients and presenting problems, age birth through young adulthood. She provides evidence-based interventions/treatments (both short-term and long-term) with childhood populations and families including: anxiety, depression, ADHD, attachment disorders, trauma-related difficulties, mood disorders, and school-related concerns. Furthermore, in working with children and families, Dr. Hermes acts as an advocate to ensure children are receiving necessary supports and provides caregivers with psycho-education and guidance in seeking out appropriate referrals and services. Dr. Hermes is also a clinician in the Preschool and Infant Neuropsychological Testing (“PINT”) clinic.

Dr. Hermes participates in Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Commonwealth Care Alliance, United Behavioral Health (UBH), Harvard Pilgrim (UBH-Pacificare), Beacon Health Strategies-Commercial & GIC Plans, Medicare and Tufts.
