Dr. Robert received his Doctorate of Clinical Psychology with a Concentration in Health Psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Robert completed his internship and post-doctoral training at Cambridge Health Alliance (Harvard Medical School) and Boston Behavioral Medicine. Dr. Robert also has specialized training in Biofeedback and Clinical Hypnosis.
Dr. Robert provides evidence-based psychological treatments for adults and adolescents. His areas of focus and expertise include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, stress-related disorders (e.g., headache, chronic pain, IBS, insomnia, hypertension), and health-behavior/lifestyle changes. Dr. Robert utilizes a variety of modalities depending on clients’ needs, including cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT), stress-management/relaxation techniques, mindfulness-based interventions, biofeedback, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
Dr. Robert leads a cognitive behavioral therapy group for adults focused on managing chronic pain. For more information about this group, please click here.
Dr. Robert is available Tuesdays and Thursdays in our Weymouth office and on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in our Quincy office.
Dr. Robert participates in the Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts, United Behavioral Health (UBH), Harvard Pilgrim (UBH-Pacificare), Medicare, Beacon Health Strategies, Aetna, Coventry/First Health and Commonwealth Care Alliance. CIGNA and other network plans cover his services on an out of network basis. With the exception of Tufts Health Plan payment for out of network services must be made at the time of service and the client must submit claims directly to the network.
