Alison Weiner, M.A, is a psychology intern with the William James College Consortium. Ms. Weiner received her undergraduate degree from Villanova University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She received her Master of Arts in Professional Psychology at William James College. Prior to her placement at CFPS, Ms. Weiner completed a practicum placement at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, where she provided integrated assessment and consultative services in a pediatric bariatric weight loss clinic, a pediatric cardiology clinic, and a pediatric feeding clinic. Ms. Weiner also has practicum experiences working in the New England Conservatory Counseling Center, where she provided individual therapy services for undergraduate and graduate students, and at the Cotting School in Lexington, where she provided individual and group therapy services for children with special needs.
Ms. Weiner will be continuing her work with children and adolescents while here at CFPS. She has particular interest and experience working with children and adolescents with both psychiatric and medical challenges.
Ms. Weiner is available in the Weymouth office Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Ms. Weiner is able to provide in network services for individuals with the following health plans. Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), United Behavioral Health (UBH), Harvard Pilgrim (UBH-Pacificare), and Beacon Health Strategies-Commercial & GIC Plans.
