Dr. Lurie provides evidence-based integrative psychological treatment to adults through a relational-cultural lens. She works to address the client’s presenting problems within the context of the client’s identities and roles they have in their lives. Her specialty areas include depression, anxiety, relationship/interpersonal issues, coping with and adjusting to large life changes, and identity-based concerns. Dr. Lurie also has expertise working with individuals coping with headache, sleep-related issues, chronic pain, and other stress-related disorders.
Dr. Lurie received her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Health Psychology from William James College in Newton, MA. She subsequently completed an APA-accredeted internship at the Suffolk Unviersity Counseling and Wellness Center in Boston, MA, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship at Trinity College Counseling and Wellness Center in Hartford, CT.
