Dr. Morgenthal is a licensed clinical psychologist providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her areas of specialty include trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and attachment-based concerns. Dr. Morgenthal has special interest in utilizing creative approaches, such as play-based therapy and art therapy, to meet her clients’ needs. She specializes in humanistic and psychodynamic therapy, and has particular interest in a client-centered approach, placing emphasis on mindfulness and the importance of the therapeutic relationship.
Dr. Morgenthal received her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology in 2015 from Antioch University New England. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Studio Art from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA in 2009. Her graduate internship was in the New Hampshire Public School system primarily working with children with emotional regulation difficulties. Additionally, her Graduate thesis focused on the impact of Child-Centered Play Therapy on the development of pretend play and communication for children with autism.
