About Ayelet Katzelnik, Psy.D.

Dr. Katzelnik provides individual therapy to adults across the lifespan (18+) who present with a range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, trauma, health-related conditions (i.e. chronic pain, insomnia, weight management), life transitions and adjustment issues. Her approach is person-centered and relational, and incorporates evidence-based treatments which include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness techniques. Dr. Katzelnik believes in creating a collaborative and supportive therapeutic environment as well as an individualized treatment plan in order to facilitate clients’ exploration of their stuck points as well as changes they could make that align with their values.

    Ayelet Katzelnik, Psy.D. is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Katzelnik received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She received her master’s degree in Professional Psychology, followed by her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College. Dr. Katzelnik completed her APA pre-doctoral internship at Lynn Community health Center, where she provided therapeutic services to emerging adults and adults in both the outpatient clinic and on an integrated primary care team.
