About Beth Kurland, Ph.D.

Dr. Kurland provides evidence-based treatment to children, adolescents, adults and families to treat a wide array of mental health issues, with a focus on whole person health and wellness. She has a special interest in using mind-body strategies, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation training, and biofeedback to treat anxiety disorders, depression, and stress related illnesses and disorders. She treats a variety of other issues as well, including but not limited to helping people with ADHD, adjustment issues, learning difficulties, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic, social anxiety, loss, anger, oppositional behavior, stress, relationship difficulties, divorce and women’s issues. In addition, she has expertise in offering parent guidance to help parents develop parenting strategies that foster resilience, emotional self-regulation, behavioral control, and self-esteem in their children.

Beth Kurland, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and Certified Health Service Provider. Dr. Kurland received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Clark University. She completed her Internship in Clinical Psychology at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. She also completed Post-Doctoral Fellowships at Judge Baker Children’s Center/Harvard Medical School and Bunker Hill Health Center. Dr. Kurland was employed at Bradley Hospital in Providence R.I. before joining LifeStance Health.
