Dr. Byron’s areas of interest and training include substance abuse and addiction, crisis intervention, autism spectrum disorders, panic disorder, anxiety and depression, self-injury, geriatric issues, relationship problems, and psychological evaluations. Dr. Byron utilizes a humanistic and cognitive behavioral approach. She provides individual and group psychotherapy to adolescents and adults.     Caroline Byron, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her undergraduate degree from Boston College in Human Development with minors in Fine Arts and Theology. She completed a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston College followed by a doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a Health Psychology focus from William James College.

    Dr. Byron completed an APA accredited pre-doctoral internship at Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in San Diego, California. The internship was a generalist approach offering the opportunity to work with adolescents, adults, older adults, and conduct psychological assessments and testing. Dr. Byron was previously a counselor at St. Elizabeth’s Comprehensive Addiction Program and has completed pre-doctoral training at McLean Hospital, Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
