Dr. Pollard provides evidence-based psychological treatments for adults. His areas of specialty include anxiety disorders, depression, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and autism spectrum disorders. Dr. Pollard utilizes a variety of modalities depending on the patient's needs, including cognitive-behavior training (CBT), stress-management/relaxation training, habit reversal training (HRT), and social skills training.
Dr. Pollard received his doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at the Catholic University of America. As part of his doctoral training, he completed an externship at Children's National Medical Center and completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Institute of Living. This was followed by a post-doctoral fellowship at the Stanford University School of Medicine and the Children's Health Council. Prior to his doctoral training, Dr. Pollard received a Master’s degree in Counseling and Consulting Psychology from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Union College.
