Dr. Brown is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy using evidence based techniques while in a supportive and relaxed environment. Specialty areas of Dr. Brown include anxiety related disorders, parent consultation for all age ranges, social anxiety, college aged life transitions, and sleep problems. Dr. Brown also provides services to the LGBTQIA+ community, providing an open and accepting therapy setting to address topics unique to this population.
Dr. Brown received his Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology in 2004 and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Trinity University. After completing his education, he trained in community mental health clinics in Tennessee and Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Brown has studied cognitive functioning with patients undergoing cancer treatment at the Medical University of South Carolina and lead research on parent-child relationships at Colorado State University. Dr. Brown is proud to be a founding member of PCA’s Integrated Care team, providing education, consultation and treatment in a behavioral health care model.
