About David E. Kesselman, DSW, LICSW

Dr. Kesselman provides evidence based psychological treatment for children, adolescents and adults. His areas of expertise include anxiety/panic disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, disruptive behavior or conduct problems, stress related disorders, sleep disorders and psychological distress/pain symptoms associated with medical diagnoses. Dr. Kesselman primarily utilizes Cognitive Therapy and biofeedback. In addition to the clinical services he provides at several primary care locations as part of the Integrated Behavioral Team, he also provides outpatient psychotherapy at LifeStance Health’ Northborough location. Prior to joining LifeStance Health, Dr. Kesselman provided clinical services and taught at UMASS/Health Alliance Fitchburg Family Medicine Residency Training Program; he held the faculty rank of Instructor at UMASS Medical School. Earlier in his career he has also held clinical leadership positions at pediatric and adolescent residential treatment programs.

    Dr. Kesselman received his doctoral training in Clinical Social Work at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. In addition, he has completed post graduate training in Cognitive Therapy from the Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy and in HRV biofeedback from The Heartmath Institute. Prior to his doctoral training, Dr. Kesselman received his Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston College and trained at Boston Children’s Hospital.
