Liz provides a holistic approach to therapy treating depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment to life stressors. She values bringing the authentic self to treatment, and often utilizes humor, art, and writing in sessions. Liz provides individual, family and group therapy using techniques from various therapeutic modalities depending on clients' needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, art therapy, bibliotherapy, poetry therapy, and motivational interviewing. Liz provides clinical services at CFPS' outpatient office in Groton, MA.
Liz received her B.A. in Psychology from Clark University, followed by her Master's in Expressive Arts Therapies from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. She is currently licensed in Massachusetts as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She is also certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and trained in Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and Attachment, Regulation & Competency (ARC) framework.
