Jacqueline Vorpahl, Ph.D. has over 25 years experience as a licensed clinical psychologist with a specialization in Child, Adolescent & Family work. She uses evidence-based practices, CBT, PCIT, Gottman Method, Family Systems, infused with new technologies. She developed an app called Chill Outz®, to help children as young as 3 to self-regulate their emotion. She adapted a group treatment modality using Yoga and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for adolescents.
Dr. Vorpahl is passionate about her work with children, teens, young adults, parents and families to help them improve their interpersonal relationships, decrease symptoms of anxiety, panic, and depression. She also enjoys working with adults managing life transitions.
Dr. Vorpahl received her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at United States International University in San Diego (now known as California School of Professional Psychology). She moved to Boston for her pre and post-doctoral fellowship at Medfield State Hospital, DBT unit; South Shore Mental Health Center and Boston University. At the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, she was trained to use Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT). She developed the Behavioral Health Program at the North American Indian Center of Boston and served on the National Suicide Prevention Committee for Native Americans. For the past 15 years she owned and operated Vorpahl Psychology Associates, LLC a group practice in Medfield. At the end of 2019 she merged her practice with LifeStance Health.
