Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She brings an intentional and comfortable presence while meeting clients wherever they are in their lives. Jessica has worked with clients of all ages in correctional, educational, and residential settings. Jessica often works with shame, addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma/PTSD. She works diligently to understand client needs and strives to help clients discover untapped internal resources and provide tools that will enhance daily living. As a human being, Jessica brings respect, empathy, humor, and authenticity to the therapy room. Jessica values providing a compassionate and genuine space to support clients in defining and achieving their therapeutic goals. She brings experience working with survivors of domestic violence, family violence, trauma, life transitions, and substance use disorders. She often works with parents, adult professionals, young adults, and children. Jessica’s commitment to tailoring the therapeutic method to the client’s personality, life complexities, and motivation is a staple in her practice style. As an eclectic clinician, Jessica emphasizes an evidenced-based multidimensional framework to maximize treatment success for all individuals including play therapy, motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family therapy.
Jessica received her Master of Social work at Salem State University. Prior to graduate school, she obtained her Bachelors in Criminal Justice and worked full-time as a counselor at MCI-Framingham Prison. During her graduate studies she worked in a school as a social-emotional learning counselor. During her last year of graduate school she was a Psychotherapist at Room For Resilience Psychotherapy.
