Jessica is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual therapy. Through strength-based, holistic, and collaborative approaches, Jessica seeks to support clients create lasting change and accomplishment of their goals through therapy. She creates a space that is safe, nurturing and comfortable to promote healing and personal growth. Jessica's experience includes treating individuals with emotional and behavioral needs, anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment disorders, mood disorders, co-morbid diagnosis, ADHD, and working with the LGBTQIA+ community. Jessica utilizes evidence-based treatment models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Mindfulness, Relaxation Techniques, talk-therapy, and/or use of art and/or play to support each individual's therapeutic journey. Jessica enjoys a variety of sports, games, art, movies/shows, yoga and doing outdoor activities.
Jessica Thornton received her Bachelor's training in Psychology and Social Work with Westfield State University followed by her Master's level training at Westfield State University.
