Katelyn provides a holistic approach to therapy treating depression, autism, anxiety, relationship, adjustment, co-parenting and experiences of trauma.
Katelyn provides individual, couples & family therapy using CBT, DBT, Polyvagal Theory, Trauma Narrative, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Reality Therapy techniques. She holds certification as a Trauma Practitioner - Clinical.
Katelyn provides evidence-based psychological treatments for adults, adolescents and children. Her areas of specialty include anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorders, stress-related disorders, parenting concerns and health-behavior/lifestyle changes. Katelyn utilizes a variety of modalities depending on clients’ needs, including cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT), stress-management/relaxation techniques, mindfulness-based interventions, biofeedback, reality therapy and applied behavior analysis.
Katelyn received her training in Mental Health Counseling at Providence College, followed by a Certificate of Graduate Studies at Rhode Island College. In addition, she is currently completing a Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. Prior to her mental health training, Katelyn received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Rhode Island College.
