About Kathy Menne, LICSW

Kathy Menne is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 30+ years of experience. She has worked on inpatient psychiatric/addictions units as well as in private practice. Her work has been with a diverse population of people from all levels of socioeconomic backgrounds. She brings to her work a level of attentiveness and compassion in the hope that clients feel comfortable to talk and share openly. Therapy can be challenging for some people. Kathy will work to help you better understand yourself and your goals for therapy. Trained by Aaron Beck, M.D. in Cognitive/Behavioral Therapy, as well as well versed on Psychodynamic Theory, Attachment Theory, Action and Commitment Therapy, and Addictions Treatment and Relapse Prevention Planning. Kathy also can provide Trauma Informed Therapy to those who have suffered major accidents, losses, or traumas. Also Mental Health issues such as Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and ADHD/ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity/Attention Deficit Disorder. Kathy also can help you cope with life challenges, work difficulties, family issues and general obstacles that keep you from performing your best in life.
