Laura Dietmann, PsyD is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Dietmann received her undergraduate degree in Psychology-based Human Relations from Connecticut College where she also completed the elementary education certification program for the state of Connecticut and minored in Human Development. She completed her master’s degree in Clinical Practices, followed by her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, at University of Hartford’s Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Dietmann completed her APA accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Village for Families & Children in Hartford, Connecticut. She provided trauma-informed outpatient and school-based therapy services to children, adolescents, and families with diverse backgrounds and a variety of clinical presentations ranging from ADHD and adjustment issues to trauma, mood, and disruptive behavior disorders. During her internship year, she also conducted psychological testing in residential treatment facilities and administered developmental evaluations as part of the Mid-Level Developmental Assessment program. Dr. Dietmann completed pre-doctoral training at Wheeler Clinic’s therapeutic day school, Albert J. Solnit Children’s Center-Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility, Clifford Beers Clinic IOP and outpatient programs, and she completed a psychology fellowship at Harvard University’s Lab for Youth Mental Health.
