Dr. Dietmann provides evidence-based psychological treatments for children, adolescents, and adults. Her areas of specialty include anxiety disorders, depression, disruptive behavior disorders, as well as trauma and stress-related disorders. Dr. Dietmann utilizes a variety of modalities depending on clients’ individual needs, including trauma informed treatment, relational psychotherapy, cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT), stress management/ relaxation techniques, and behavior modification. In addition, Dr. Dietmann provides play therapy, family therapy, and parent coaching for families of young children (3-12).
Dr. Dietmann received her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hartford’s Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology, followed by a pre-doctoral internship at The Village for Families and Children in Hartford, CT and post-doctoral fellowship at Child and Family Psychological Services. Prior to her doctoral training, Dr. Dietmann received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Practices at University of Hartford and received her B.A. in Psychology-based Human Relations from Connecticut College.
