Dr. Scharff provides evidence-based treatments for mood and anxiety disorders as well as psychological factors that interact with medical issues in children, adolescents, and adults. Her specialties include working with clients with depression, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, chronic pain, womens’ health issues, and body dysmorphic disorder. Dr. Scharff received her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Albany, SUNY, followed by a pre-doctoral fellowship at Sharp Hospital in San Diego California and postdoctoral training at the University of Pittsburgh.
