About Luz Evangeline S. Dizon, M.D.

Dr. Dizon provides psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacology and individual therapy to adults 18 and older, including the elderly. She was recently Medical Director of the Geriatric Inpatient Unit at the Steward Good Samaritan Medical Center providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management of patients with dementia also providing education and support to their families and caregivers. Dr. Dizon also provided care for adult patients, both in inpatient and outpatient settings.

    Dr. Dizon is a Board Certified Psychiatrist by the Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She received her medical degree from the University of the East College of Medicine. She completed her residency at the Harvard South Shore Residency Program with a fellowship in Psychiatry in Primary Care. Dr. Dizon practiced at the Brockton VAMC as an inpatient psychiatrist in the adult admission unit and went on to work at the Good Samaritan Medical Center Geriatric Psychiatry inpatient unit for 18 years and served as the Medical Director for 6 years. She has also worked in outpatient settings with patients 18 and older.
