Lynn works with adult and geriatric patients in integrated behavioral health settings. She utilizes a strengths-based approach to wellness, fostering client resiliency through skills training and motivational strategies. Her specialty areas focus on behavioral health problems, including stress/anxiety, sleep disturbances, depression, chronic pain, diabetes, eating disorders, and weight management. Using motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Lynn facilitates improved behavioral functioning in alignment with client values and goals.
Lynn received an M.A. in English Literature and a B.A. in the Program of Liberal Studies, both from the University of Notre Dame, before obtaining a master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) at the University of Iowa. She competed clinical practicum placements at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, and KVC Behavioral Healthcare in Lexington, Kentucky. At the University of Kentucky College of Social Work, Lynn helped implement a federally-funded workforce development grant aimed at training master’s level social workers to provide clinical services in integrated behavioral healthcare settings. Lynn also served as clinical faculty at the University of Kentucky College of Social Work, teaching courses related to integrated behavioral health.
