Dr. White utilizes a variety of treatment modalities depending on the client’s needs, including person centered and psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness-based interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and feminist therapy. Her areas of specialty include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, autism spectrum disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma. Dr. White also has a strong interest in social justice, multicultural, and diversity issues.
Dr. White received her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hartford, followed by a predoctoral internship at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, DC. In addition, she completed an Advanced Postdoctoral Fellowship conducting neuropsychological evaluations at Mass General Brigham Salem Hospital. Prior to her doctoral training, Dr. White received a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine.
