About Mandi E. Clegg LICSW

Mandi (she/her/hers or they/them/theirs) has been working in the field as a family case manager and medical social worker for over 15 years. She brings knowledge of family systems, personal or community trauma, medical support and empathy to every session with their clients. Her personal desire is to support the LGBTQI communities and anyone suffering from anxiety disorders, coping with life’s challenges, depression and stress. In recent years, she has also worked to build an affirming practice that supports Autistic and ADHD adults.

Mandi believes most clients do not want a therapist to sit silently and nod. Practicing from a place rooted in Interpersonal, Feminist and Liberation Health they will always bring a kind voice, a compassionate ear and provide a space where no topic is taboo…as well as the occasional therapy dog or cat into the Telehealth sessions with you.

Of particular note, Mandi was a medical social worker in both a primary care and medical/surgical floors at hospital systems in the Greater Boston are through COVID-19 pandemic. If you are a healthcare provider, seeking someone who understands the ‘shared language' because you were an essential employee and are struggling with that experience, please feel free to request me.

Outside of providing therapy, Mandi spends time with her wife and their Service Dogs, River & Moog. She lives in Las Vegas NV and enjoys plenty of time at dog parks and hockey rinks. Mandi is a geek at heart, enjoying science and loads of space-based tv and movies.
