Dr. Rezazadeh provides individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She draws from a number of theoretical perspectives including client-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, relational, and developmental. She also has experience providing group therapy for anxiety issues among children and youth.
Dr. Rezazadeh’s therapeutic framework emphasizes collaborative work with her clients in the decision-making process and development of shared goals effective to each client’s unique life circumstances. She strives to create a caring, transparent, and safe therapeutic milieu to support client’s understanding of their personal and relationship challenges, leading to personal growth.
Her particular areas of clinical interest include anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, loss and adjustment issues, and relationship challenges. She also specializes in assessment and diagnosis of learning disabilities, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Dr. Rezazadeh received her doctoral training in Counseling Psychology from McGill University in Canada, with extensive training in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health clinic, college counseling center, and hospitals. Prior to her doctoral training, she received a Master’s degree in School/Applied Child Psychology at McGill University.
