About Megan Griffiths, Psy.D.

Dr. Griffiths approaches her work with the goal of building a strong therapeutic bond through a safe, caring and non-judgmental approach to treatment. She has a wide range of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her area of specialty is focused around topics related to anxiety, depression, adjustment and identity development, and life transitions. She has experience providing care in an assortment of capacities ranging from outpatient practices, group homes, residential facilities, schools and home therapy settings. Dr. Griffiths believes in a client centered approach to treatment and uses a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as mindfulness practices, however, she believes in tailoring the approach to each client’s unique background, needs and requests.

    Dr. Griffiths received her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at William James college and is currently completing her post-doctoral fellowship at LifeStance Health. She earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from Regis College.
