Dr. Gowan’s clinical experience has been characterized by a broad diversity of settings and populations. Having had opportunities to provide individual and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults and families has given Dr. Gowan exposure to a spectrum of levels of care, presenting concerns, diagnoses, developmental stages, and cultural backgrounds.
Dr. Gowan embraces an authentic, warm and collaborative style in her therapeutic approach. Her objective is to create a safe, nonjudgmental and supportive space that helps to facilitate growth, insight and healing.
Meghan Gowan, Psy.D. is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Gowan received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Keene State College, with a minor in sociology. She completed her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling with a trauma specialization at Lesley University, followed by her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in global mental health, at William James College.
