Dr. Griss provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for adults and older adults. She specializes in the assessment and diagnosis of cognitive dysfunction secondary to medical and psychiatric illness, as well as various neurological disorders. Dr. Griss has a particular interest in aging populations. Prior to Child and Family Psychological Services, she was employed in outpatient and inpatient clinics at various community and university-based hospitals, as well as served as a consultant in nursing homes. Her breadth of clinical experience has helped inform her holistic approach to assessment and consultation. Dr. Griss has conducted research in aging and severe forms of mental illness.
Melina Griss, Ph.D., ABPP is a board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). She specializes in the assessment of adults and older adults. Dr. Griss completed her doctorate in clinical psychology from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) with a focus in neuropsychology, a pre-doctoral internship in clinical neuropsychology at the Charleston Consortium Internship Program/Medical University of South Carolina, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Olin Neuropsychiatric Research Center.
