About Miles Tarter, Psy.D.

Dr. Tarter has been providing psychological services for over 40 years with people ages 2 to 102. He is experienced in helping people cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, eating disorders, and chemical dependency. His integrative mind/body perspective is the product of his education and training in eastern and western psychological approaches. He has strong interests in working with teens and adults on the autism spectrum.

Outside of work, he is a dedicated gardener, traveler, audiobook reader, and cherishes social connectedness.

    Dr. Tarter received his doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at Antioch New England Graduate School, with doctoral internship and fellowship at Harvard University School of Medicine. He previously completed pre-doctoral training at Brown and Yale University Medical Schools and has a Master’s Degree in Buddhist and Western Psychology from Naropa Institute, and was an assistant director of the Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessment Center at McLean Hospital.
