Dr. Feingold-Palmer has extensive experience working with patients who are struggling with parenting and family issues, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, phase of life issues, caretaker stress, aging, illness and loss. She balances a psychodynamic approach with supportive problem solving work. She takes the time to learn about her patients’ histories and about how their past experiences are impacting their current functioning and life satisfaction. Utilizing this in-depth understanding of her patients, she can help them access their unique set of strengths, while helping them identify and rework attitudes and behaviors which are no longer effective.
Dr. Feingold-Palmer received her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado, followed by a pre-doctoral internship at the Denver Veterans Administration Hospital and a post-doctoral internship at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts.
