About Nicole Nocera, M.A., LMHC, Postdoc Fellow

Nicole provides individual therapy with clients across the lifespan from diverse backgrounds. Nicole utilizes assorted evidence-based treatments depending on each client’s specific needs including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, substance-focused, and trauma-informed care. Nicole has experience working with various mental health issues including depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, and ADHD. Nicole also has experience administering psychological testing in cognitive, social, behavioral, and emotional domains. Nicole thoughtfully creates an inclusive, affirming, culturally responsive therapeutic space. Honoring each person’s intersecting identities and unique experiences is a crucial component of her holistic approach. Nicole enjoys her clinical work and values building a mutually respectful therapeutic relationship with clients.

    Nicole earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from The College of the Holy Cross and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University. Nicole currently holds state licensure in Massachusetts as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
