Nicole is a Doctorate level Clinical Intern and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been providing clinical services for over 6 years. In her career, she worked at an out-patient substance abuse clinic, community mental health centers, and schools. She provided individual, family, and group therapy with clients, ages 11-years-old to 65-years-old from diverse backgrounds. She uses person-centered, evidence-based practices from various modalities that best fit each clients’ unique needs, including CBT, ACT, DBT, Psychodynamic, and Mindfulness. She has experience treating various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, mood & behavior dysregulation, ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, and Autism. Nicole also has experience administering psychological testing in cognitive, social, behavioral, and emotional domains. Nicole uses a holistic approach to create a safe and comfortable space for healing and values building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients. Nicole enjoys her clinical work and appreciates coordinating closely with families and providers.
Nicole Nocera is a fourth year Clinical Psychology Doctoral student, working towards a Doctorate of Psychology degree (Psy.D.) from William James College in Newton, MA. Prior to her Doctoral training, Nicole received a Master’s Degree in the School of Education for Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University in New York City, NY, which lead to a License in Mental Health Counseling. Prior to her Masters, Nicole received a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Psychology from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.
