About Noreen M. Donovan, Ph.D.

Dr. Noreen Donovan provides evidence-based psychological treatment for children and families. Her areas of specialty include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, selective mutism, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and eating disorders. Treatment utilizes a variety of modalities depending on the client's needs including Cognitive-Behavior therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, parent behavior management training, and Solutions-Based approaches. She also works with adults who may struggle with anxiety and/or depression.

Dr. Noreen Donovan also provides neuropsychological evaluations and consultations for children from 3 through age 18 as well as young adults with developmental concerns. She specializes in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for children with questions of developmental disorders (e.g., ADHD, autism spectrum, intellectual and learning disabilities) and emotional difficulties (e.g., depression and anxiety disorders), and other concerns related to education, learning, and development. In addition to her clinical services, Dr. Donovan also serves as the Site Director for LifeStance Health’s outpatient offices in Arlington and Framingham, MA.

    Dr. Noreen Donovan received her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at the Suffolk University. She completed a pre-doctoral internship at the Stoneybrook Counseling Center in Chelmsford, MA. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at The Counseling Center of Nashua in New Hampshire. Prior to her doctoral training, Dr. Donovan received a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University.
