Nuliyar Dursun is a doctoral level clinical intern who has been providing clinical services for over 5 years. In her career, she held various positions including her work as a chemical dependency counselor, applied behavioral analysis therapist, service coordinator, and social worker. She provided individual and group therapy as well as neuropsychological testing for clients in the 16 to 80 years-old age range. In her clinical work, Nuliyar uses clinically tested and evidence-based approaches from various modalities including psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy. She has experience treating various mental health disorders including depression, and anxiety. She has also conducted neuropsychological evaluations for school accommodations, ADHD, DBS, AD as well as mood-related disorders. Nuliyar is a nurturing and passionate provider who understands the process of treatment and provides a safe and secure relationship for her clients. Additionally, she speaks Russian and Turkish and has provided therapeutic services as well as testing in both of those languages.
Nuliyar Dursun is currently receiving her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at William James College, Newton, MA. She received her Masters of Arts in Psychology at Medaille College in Buffalo, NY. Her former training sites have been at the Sports Concussion New England (2020-2021) in Brookline, MA and Brigham & Women's Hospital Behavioral Neurology Unite (2021-2022) in Boston, MA. Nuliyar is also a STAR fellow (since 2020), which is awarded to students who are first-time college students.
