About Peter Orlov, M.D.

Dr. Orlov has practiced in a wide variety of hospital, outpatient, and community settings treating infants, young children, teens, young adults, trauma survivors, families, and couples. Since 1996, Dr. Orlov has provided medication management to children, adolescents, and adults in our Woburn office. He emphasizes and provides psychoeducation around self care with respect to nutrition, sleep, and exercise alongside providing psychiatric and psychopharmacological (medical) treatment for children, teens, and adults.

    Dr. Orlov earned his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1974 and completed residencies in Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry, where he was Chief Resident, at Tufts New England Medical Center. He is Board Certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. Dr. Orlov has served as an Attending, Consulting Psychiatrist and Medical and Clinical Director at a number of in-patient and outpatient services in eastern Massachusetts and held academic appointments at Harvard and Tufts Medical Schools over his thirty year career. Dr. Orlov maintained an individual private practice for twenty-five years in Lexington, Massachusetts until joining PCA full time in 2006.
