Rebecca Zafran draws upon techniques from CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems to provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She utilizes a trauma-informed and person-centered approach to understand each client’s unique needs, challenges, and strengths.
Rebecca received her Master’s of Social Work from Boston University in 2017. She completed her clinical training at Tewksbury Hospital, conducting assessments and providing therapy and case management to adults with severe and persistent mental illness, and at Children’s Charter Trauma Clinic, where she conducted assessments and provided individual counseling to children and adults who had experienced trauma. Following her training, Rebecca worked for NFI Massachusetts as a clinician at an adolescent group home and provided case management, individual, group, and family therapy for adolescents in the custody of the Department of Children and Families and youth receiving services from the Department of Mental Health.
