Dr. Ferguson provides neuropsychological evaluation for children, adolescents and adults. He does evaluations to aid in diagnosis and more importantly to provide recommendations for treatment and other interventions. His experience has been in a wide range of settings with patients of all ages. As a lifespan practitioner, he is able to assess neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, autism spectrum, learning disorders and intellectual disability for patients of all ages. He is also able to assess the cognitive and emotional effects of traumatic and acquired brain injury including the effects of medical illness on brain functioning.
Dr. Ferguson completed his Ph.D with a study of the effects of neuropsychological feedback on drunk drivers at UMass/Community Healthlink and the University of Wyoming. His predoctoral internship at UMass/Worcester State Hospital included training in child and adult psychopathology and treatment. Neuropsychology training was through the 2 year postdoctoral program at Fielding Graduate University.
