About Sarah Albert, MSW, LICSW

Sarah Albert-Perry, MSW, LICSW has more than 13 years providing therapy, and her work focuses on meeting the needs and goals of her clients. She works with adults, adolescents, couples, and families, providing a warm and supportive environment for self-discovery, growth, and healing. Some clients hope to increase their insight, improve their relationships, manage transitional events, or grapple with identities and desires. Others want more skills to manage mental health issues for improved quality of life.

Trained in psychodynamic theory (object relations most influences her work), Sarah has extensive experience with trauma-informed care, utilizing CBT, DBT and ACT in her work. She is strength based, and has strong sensibilities regarding unconscious and conscious process. She also utilizes knowledge of the brain and body, especially in working with trigger/response cycles, while incorporating mindfulness.

Sarah has sensitivity to how racism, homophobia, sexism, and other forms of oppression (and abuse) impact our mental health.

In addition to her clinical services, Sarah also serves as the Site Director for LifeStance Health's outpatient offices in Needham and Norwell, MA.
