About Sarah Cordle, LMHC

Sarah provides a holistic, multi-faceted approach to therapy treating depression, anxiety, OCD, adjustment, and relationships. Healthcare workers, teachers, and caregivers with a sense of humor and a motivated attitude will work well with Sarah. Sarah provides evidenced-based psychological treatments for adults and couples. Her areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders, stress-related disorders (i.e., headache, chronic pain, IBS, insomnia) and health-behavior/lifestyle changes. Sarah utilizes a variety of modalities depending on clients' needs, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), stress-management/relaxation techniques, mindfulness-based interventions, and overall person-centered and strengths-based approaches.

    Sarah received her Bachelor's of Science as a double major in Clinical Psychology and Child Development at Tufts University. During this time, she served as an Americorps volunteer at a residential psychiatric facility for children and adolescents. She also interned at a day program for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities during this time. Sarah then went on to receive her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Boston College's Lynch School of Education. During this time, Sarah completed her master's internship and practicum at the OCD Institute at McLean Hospital.
