About Sarah Lin, Ph.D.

Sarah Lin, Ph.D., is the Associate Regional Director of Psychological Care Associates, a division of Child & Family Psychological Services, as well as the Site Director of the Framingham office. In addition to her administrative role, Dr. Lin provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based interventions, presented with warmth, a sense of humor, while harnessing individual and family strengths. Dr. Lin utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, social skill deficits, autism spectrum disorders, adjustment, transitions, and phase of life struggles, as well as providing comprehensive parent support and coaching.

    Dr. Lin earned her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University in 2008. She received her clinical training at the Manhattan and Brooklyn Campuses of the Department of Veterans Affairs’ New York Harbor Healthcare System, The North Central Bronx Hospital, and Baruch College of the City University of New York. Prior to her doctoral studies she worked as a Research Assistant at the Harvard School of Public Health’s Department of Maternal and Child Health, and as a Research Coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Pediatric Psychopharmacology Unit. Dr. Lin is published in the journals: Psychotherapy Research, Biological Psychiatry, Journal of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has presented on a variety of topics including Autism Spectrum Disorders and challenges associated with stages of child development.
