About Shaomin (Sean) Xing, Ph.D.

Dr. Xing is a clinical psychologist and health service provider who has been licensed since 1997. He has extensive experience treating children/adolescents, adults, and geriatric clients with a wide variety of clinical presentations. Dr. Xing was the associate clinical director at South Cove Community Health Center in Boston from 1998 to 2002, where he primarily served an Asian-American population. Dr. Xing worked at Aspire Health Alliance (formerly South Shore Mental Health) for over 17 years where he also served as a clinical supervisor for APA and other clinical psychology interns. Over the years he has also performed diagnostic consultation and assessment, psychological testing, and disability assessment for the state of Massachusetts and the Social Security Administration.

    Dr. Xing obtained his PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and completed his internship at North Central Human Services. He also has Master's degrees in counseling psychology and psychometrics
