About Sierra Fuller, LICSW

Sierra offers a calm and understanding space, free of judgment and provides support, compassion and insight while drawing on the perspective of the client and their experiences. Sierra has an electric approach and incorporates many different schools of thought (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Harm Reduction) to tailor her approach to the individual. Sierra holds a certification in Motivational Interviewing. She also is familiar with the Spanish language and culture. Her areas of specialty are anxiety disorders, depression-related disorders, trauma-based disorders, substance use disorders, and familial and relationship issues.

Sierra has diverse work experiences which inform each layer of her practice. She understands how someone’s environment can either help of hinder how they function in the world. She explores how both she and the client can change the environment and their responses to it in order to empower her clients in their lives. Sierra believes that every person has both the ability and skills to meet their goals. Therefore, she explores these skills in sessions and helps the client utilize them as the foundation upon which to build their work.
