Dr. Merlis provides evidenced based for adolescents (16 and up) and adults/older adults. Her areas of specialty include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, stress-related disorders (e.g. headache, chronic pain, IBS, insomnia, hypertension), health-behavior/life style changes, geriatrics, substance abuse, and trauma/PTSD. Suzanne R. Merlis, Psy.D. received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2002. She completed her Internship Training at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Adult Ambulatory Services, and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Family Systems & Health at the Chicago Center for Family Health and Family Medicine Residency Program at MacNeal Hospital, Chicago, IL.
