Dr. Martin practices as a pediatric neuropsychologist. He is a licensed psychologist and Certified Health Services Provider, and specializes in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and consultation for children and families effected with: Autistic spectrum disorders, including Asperger’s Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, and Nonverbal Learning Disorders; Learning Disabilities and ADHD; medical illnesses; and other neuro-developmental, psychiatric and educational difficulties. He provides neuropsychological, psychological, and developmental evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults age 2 to 22.
Timothy A. Martin, Ph.D. received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University and completed pre-doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships at the Yale University School of Medicine Child Study Center. Dr. Martin's research has focused on the impact of neuropsychological and psychosocial factors on academic achievement. He practices Child Clinical Psychology and Pediatric Neuropsychology.
Prior to pursuing a career in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Martin was a special education teacher working directly with children experiencing traumatic brain injuries, autism, and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
